AcademyHealth offers several types of continuing education credits (CEC) through the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), the Medical Library Association, and the Society of Actuaries for individuals participating in various conferences.

At the Annual Research Meeting, continuing education credits are offered through the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and through the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Continuing education credits for nurses are provided by AACN. For the 2002 meeting, the number of contact hours was 21. To receive credit hours for attendance at the Annual Research Meeting, an individual must do the following:

1. Complete a certificate of attendance. (Meeting participants receive this certificate with their conference materials.) Include contact information, session title, and number of credit hours.
2. Make a copy of the form for your records.
3. Send the signed certificate of attendance to:

AcademyHealth is authorized to award 21 hours of pre-approved Category II (non-ACHE) continuing education credit for this program toward advancement or recertification in ACHE. Participants wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward Category II credit should list their attendance when applying for advancement or recertification in ACHE.
